Why does it make sense to choose a genuine leather bag?

Leather is a sustainable natural material. It is a by product of the food industry, no animal is killed for their skin. When you choose genuine leather, you are actually helping the environment by keeping waste out of landfills. When the skins get tanned and used as leather, the waste is reduced by 40%.

Leather is also a resilient material, it is durable and lasts much longer than any man made artificial substitute. 

It smells and feels good, it is breathable, gets better with age and takes on a beautiful patina.

Manmade plastic materials are made from oil, that is not sustainable.
